This loon is hand drawn and painted on heavyweight watercolor paper that has been mounted on solid maple wood panel. This loon design features spiral designs, giving it a Celtic flair. There is a small wooden stand attached to the back that allows this piece to stand on its own, making it easy to display on a mantle or book shelf, or any other flat surface. The entire piece has been sealed with a special beeswax finish to protect the watercolor painting, giving it a nice smooth finish.
