Oak & Holly Hand Printed Cards: Set of Four Cards
A set of 4 hand-printed cards on 100% cotton rag paper that is tinted a light warm mottled brown to give them an aged look. The design is hand printed in a deep forest green color from an hand carved stamp from my original design, and features an oak leaf and acorn and a holly leaf and berries. This design represents the shift from the light half of the year to the dark half, from the Divine Oak of summer to the Divine Holly of winter. In Celtic myth, the Holly King defeats the Oak King to rule at the Winter Solstice.
The cards measure approximately 6 1/4″ H x 4 1/4″ W, and the paper has a lovely rustic deckle edge on three sides. They come with kraft paper brown envelopes that measure 6 1/2″ H x 4 3/4″ W.
