This print reproduces my original painting, created using watercolor and acrylic gouache paints on paper. The print is created on paper with the same texture and finish as the original, which has a nice velvety appearance. In the second photo I have shown the original painting on the right, with the print on the left, so that you can see how accurate the print reproduces the original. This listing is for the print only.

I created the original artwork as a hand painted interpretation of the Sun card in the Tarot. I was inspired to represent it as an icon to the bee, and the joy that the sun transfers through the flower. Traditionally the Sun card in Tarot represents rebirth and childlike joy, a new opening of illumination and insight, and a freshness of vision. To the bee the sun and the sunflower are the same, and they inspire the passion for the work that the bee provides, and in this vital way supports our entire shared ecosystem.

This print is numbered in a true limited edition of 50 – each print is signed and numbered on the back. The print is 5″ x 7″, with an approximately 1″ border around the artwork – the image portion of the print is 3 1/16″ x 5 1/8″ . The print is sealed in a clear bag and is carefully packaged and shipped in a rigid mailer with a cardboard support.
