Rebirth: Emotional Flashcards Fine Art Print

Entitled “Rebirth” the original artwork for this print was painted in 2021 using watercolor and and acrylic gouache on watercolor paper. The artwork for this print is one of 21 painted cards I created as a tarot major arcana deck called Emotional Flashcards. You can read more about this project on my website by visiting HERE.

This listing is for the limited edition print shown in the first photo. The second photo shows a close up view of the original artwork that the print is made from.

Rebirth is the 21st card in the Emotional Flashcards, and corresponds to the World card in the traditional tarot. Here is the description that corresponds to this card in the Emotional Flashcards deck: “A garter snake forms a spiral and its recently shed skin surrounds the earth in an eternal circle. The spiral path of cyclical returning and rebirth, and the infinite circle without beginning or end are separate and the same – symbols of growth. If we hold both of these truths in our minds at the same time, we begin to embody our soul’s journey.” The runic inscription at the bottom of the print uses a runic alphabet I created specifically for use in my artwork. This word is a talisman, created with hidden meaning to add deeper significance to the message of the image.

This fine art Giclée print is created on acid-free paper with the same texture and finish as the original painting, which has a lovely velvety appearance, and accurately reproduces the original painting in size, color and finish. Each print is signed and numbered on the back and this series is a limited numbered edition of 50. The print measures 5″ x 7″, with a white border around artwork to allow for matting and framing – the image portion of the print is 5 1/4″ high and 3 1/2″ wide. The print comes sealed in a clear bag and is carefully packaged and shipped in a rigid mailer with a cardboard support.
