Description

This print reproduces my original painting, created in 2001 using acrylic inks on paper. The print is created on paper with the same texture and finish as the original, which has a nice velvety appearance. The image is of a Celtic crow surrounded by a knotwork frame. The name “Cornix” is the Latin word for crow, and is used in medieval bestiaries to represent this fascinating member of the corvid family. Crows have long been a favorite of mine, and this small painting is one of my all time favorite paintings. The original painting hangs in my own home, but I have made it available as a limited edition print so that you can have it in yours as well.

This print is numbered in a true limited edition of 50 – each print is signed and numbered on the back. The print is 5″ x 5″, with an approximately 1/2″ border around the artwork – the printed image portion of the print is 4 1/8″ x 4 1/8″ . The print is sealed in a clear bag and is carefully packaged and shipped in a rigid mailer with a cardboard support.

The images in this listing include watermarks to prevent unauthorized reproduction of the artwork. Your print will be free from white knotwork wave and copyright notice included in these images.
